Paying It Forward
The art world has been very kind to me -- first offering a vocation, a career, a Raison d'etre - then providing a way of supporting myself and my son on a very practical level.
In return, I take every opportunity to share my passion with others. My services are available for private lessons, classes, workshops and lectures. Very reasonable fees range from simple honorariums to weekly rates.
I sincerely believe that the creative process is one of the ways we find our way back to our Source. If you want camaraderie and guidance from a friend who's been down that path, contact me to discuss your goals and objectives. Together, we'll design a protocol just for you, arrange a presentation to your group or find another way to fulfill your artistic aspirations.
I would love to have you gather a group of like-minded friends for classes or a workshop -- just tell me what artistic avenues you want to explore.... Here's my best contact info: pamelagilbrethwatkins@msn.com or 325-572-3478.

Here is an example of an art lesson I did at St. John's Episcopal School, Abilene, Texas. We did a study of Native American Picotgraphs and Petroglyphs. The resulting art works were featured at McMurry University during Homecoming activities. Our St. John's students produced contemporary interpretations of authentic Native designs which honored the Pre-Columbian artists and appealed to a modern audience.
